This year, we are excited to put together our first annual Holiday Festival. The idea behind this event is to promote community gathering for all ages.
We are going to host children in the Canterbury Hall where they can donate a non-perishable food item or warm winter accessory (socks, mittens, etc.) into the Canyon Meadows Polar Express train. In exchange, the children will be supervised while they participate in a craft-making activity – something they can wrap and give during the holidays!
The Lloyd Hand Hall will house the main event that is open for all ages. We are going to showcase mainly Canyon Meadows artists and crafters as well as a few home-based businesses. We will also have a pair of psychics on hand to give you an idea of what the New Year may have in store for you! (by donation) There will be seating and refreshments necessary to have a break and chat. Gift wrapping by donation will also be available!
We now have 29+ on our roster of vendors offering: pottery, paintings, purses, essential oils, jewellery, children’s books, European baking, tea, Indian head massage, etc! Thank you to all of those who have registered. Vendors can access the hall one hour before and after the event for set up and take down. There will be volunteers available to help if needed. Any questions contact our Community Animator, Anna Maria at email@example.com or 403-478-1566.
