
FREE Zumba & Pilates
FREE Introductory Classes for Zumba and Pilates are coming to Canyon Meadows Community this month. Mark your calendars and plan to join the free classes. Thursday August 17th, Aug 24th, and August 31st from 7:00pm – 8:00pm. All you need to bring is your yoga mat and a desire to move and feel good doing it!
The instructor, Svitlana has years of teaching experience and certification in Pilates & Zumba. The classes will be on a drop-in basis, with a maximum of 15 participants/class. During the one hour class, there will be a sampling of both Zumba and Pilates based on the participants input.
Zumba is a mix of low and high intensity moves for an interval style, calorie burning dance party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you’ll see why Zumba classes are often called exercise in disguise! The Pilates portion of the class incorporates a greater focus on building strength and stability in the core areas around your spine. Pull out your gym mat and get ready to do a series of movements that will stabilize and strengthen your core.
