Holiday Happiness & Merry Mail Fundraiser for Seniors
This holiday seaon, HELP US HELP Calgary Seniors.
Our community is raising funds for Calgary Seniors’ Resource Society’s Holiday Happiness & Merry Mail programs!!
Their programs and services are offered to low-income seniors free of charge, and bring essential supports and holiday cheer to isolated Seniors.
Our goal is to raise a minimum of $250 and to create at least 50 Merry Mail letters
Here’s how you can help:
– Buy baked goods from our fundraiser at the Canyon Meadows Christmas Craft Fair this Saturday November 20th at the Community Centre from 10am- 4pm
– Donate items for the Merry Mail program at the Christmas Craft Fair, such as word seeks, sudoku, individually wrapped tea bags, chocolates, cards, and anything else you would like to include!
– Get your skates sharpened at our Fire Pit Grand Opening on Saturday November 27th from 2pm – 4pm where the proceeds will support the Holiday Happiness program
If you aren’t able to attend these events, you can also donate money or gift cards (preferable grocery cards) at the Community Centre during our senior’s coffee hour (November 17 and December 1, between 10:30 and 11:30).
