Harvest & Canning Swap

Welcome to the first year of the Yard & Garden Club initiated by resident Linda McMillan and co-organized with our GM Colleen! We have received a donation from a generous neighbour, have been awarded the ClimateReadyYYC grant and our working on a an ING grant application for a water mitigation and flowerbed enhancements (including raised  garden beds!). This is a community-led endeavor so get it touch if you have ideas. Here are our current objectives:

– Helping Canyon Meadows residents with their gardens (we encourage memberships!)
– Canning Work Bee in late summer (maybe in 2026!)
– Fall Swap – Swap extra bulbs, seeds, harvest or canning with neighbours. 
– Some kind of social gathering!
