Community Garden Installation

Installation is now underway! We need community hands to install the following componenets of the project:

Irrigation

– Installing water tanks – foundations, connecting diverting systems to downspouts, spigots, pumps
– Digging water basins

Raised Garden Beds

– Assembling shed
– Building garden beds (that will provide a shared harvest for the benefit of the neighbourhood!)
– Installing wicking bed accessories

Food Forest

– Fitting piping into swale
– Grooming the sand, gravel and mulch backfill

Planting

– In all 4 areas: Raised Beds, Food Forest, Sensory Garden, and Rain Garden
