Special Resolution Meeting
Date: Wednesday, December 14th, 2022
Place: Austin’s Bar & Grill, 11625 Elbow Dr. SW
Time: 7:00-8:00pm (with option to stay after for dinner or drinks, at your own expense)
A motion has been made to hold a Special Resolution meeting. This Special Resolution meeting will address the following updates to our bylaws, dated September 29, 2018:
Article 4.1 Classification of Membership
‘Family Household (formerly Resident Household Membership)’ will be renamed to ‘Family Membership’
‘Family Membership’ will include ‘be residents or non-residents of Canyon Meadows and live in the same household’
‘Senior Household’ will be renamed to ‘Senior Membership’
‘Individual Membership’ will be added as a classification of membership
‘Individual Membership’ will include ‘be a resident or non-resident of Canyon Meadows with no other household members’
‘Individual Membership’ will include ‘pay the annual membership fee designated for Individual Membership’
Article 4.2 Membership Year
Currently reads ‘The membership year shall be the same as the Association’s Fiscal Year’
This will be changed to ‘The membership year shall be valid for 1 year from date of purchase’
We are listening to our members! Adding an Individual Membership option, and making our membership valid for a full year from date of purchase, are the top requests we hear from our members. If you support these changes to our bylaws, please consider attending this Special Resolution Meeting and cast your vote to ensure these amendments are passed. Votes cannot be made by proxy.
